Wat doe ik, wie ben ik? Een verhaal met een begin, midden, slot bestaat niet voor mij. Ik heb ook niet het gevoel dat ik mijn leven zo eendimensionaal leidt.
Daarom hieronder even gecopypasted wat ik in mijn profiel van CouchSurfing.org heb staan. Dat omschrijft mij misschien nog het beste.
* Drinking a beer with good friends.
* Listening to extraordinary travel stories (and daydream about my own).
* Going to concerts and enjoy the energy of the artists or bands playing.
* Baking cakes and even more: watch other people enjoy eating them
.
* Taking my bike, go to a random place in nature and lose myself in a book.
* Volunteering at festivals to enjoy the creative atmosphere and meet new people.
* My volunteer work for AFS Intercultural Programs: organising orientation camps for teenagers who will leave their country for a period abroad or just came back.
* Loving my friends!
* Going on holiday alone: best way to stay open for encounters with other cultures, beliefs and customs
* Enjoying good coffee on my sunny balcony together with Valerie, my lavender plant.
* Walking through town or at the market by myself, noticing people all looking grumpy and try to change that by walking around with a huge smile on my face.
* Dancing. I do love dancing, but only to “good” music. You won’t find me in the disco. I love to dance to African music.
* Experimenting in the kitchen.
* Drinking only a few glasses of wine with friends and make up the most silly stories and jokes ever. And still think they are funny…
